A Prayer Attributed to St. Francis

Lord, make us instruments of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon;

where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Intercession Jan. 31, 2011

Rev. Erroll Montgomery was in an automobile accident Sunday night in Biloxi, MS. He was transferred to the University of Southern Alabama University Medical Center in Mobile, ALa with for treatment for a "brain bleed." Please add him to your intercessory list.

    Fr. Errol is back in Biloxi. He has a neck brace and many bruises. He suffers headaches and the extent of his back and kidney damage is still undetermined. He has some memory loss. He reasons, speaks, and can walk and move all limbs. Praise be to God. He will be reevaluated for the brain injury in three weeks at the University of Southern Alabama Medical Center in Mobile. Continuing prayers appreciated.
